K. S. Wood Work

K. S. Wood Work is situated near the New Grain Market on Kotakpura Road in the Moga District. We have a workshop where the floor is almost always covered in sawdust. We spend our days cutting wood and putting together furniture or whatever else people need built for their homes. The sound of saws and drills is pretty much constant from the moment we open up. We have stacks of timber leaning against the walls and a few workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years. Being near the grain market means there are always trucks and tractors passing by outside. It is a dusty environment, but we are used to it by now. We work with our hands and try to make things that will last for a long time. Sometimes we get a big order for a lot of chairs or a large table and the whole place gets crowded. We don't have a showroom, so people usually just come into the workshop to talk to us about what they want. It is a straightforward business with no frills. We have been in Moga for a long time and know where to get the best wood for the jobs we do. Our clothes are usually covered in wood shavings by the end of the day. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do best.
