Our setup is a bit different because we are based right in the village of Gairar, near Tarikhet. If you are looking for us, we operate out of Manoj Kumar’s place. Being in a village means things move a bit slower here, which is fine by us. We deal with educational matters, mostly helping people in the surrounding hills figure out school stuff or certifications. It’s a small operation. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting on the porch or in the main room talking to visitors who walk over from the nearby houses. The roads up here aren't always the best, so we don't expect people to come from very far away. We do what we can with the resources we have. Sometimes the internet is spotty, so we rely a lot on paper records and face-to-face meetings. It’s honest work and it feels right to be helping out the community we actually live in. We don't have any big signs or fancy offices. It’s just a house where we do our business. People know where Manoj lives, so they find us easily enough. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. We just want to make sure the kids and adults in Gairar have someone to talk to about their education. It’s quiet, it’s practical, and it suits the way life goes in the village. We just take things one day at a time and see who stops by the gate for a chat.
