Sbn Brick Factory

We are located at 788 Dvg Road in Chikkaballapur. Our yard is always a bit of a mess with all the dust and the trucks coming in and out, but we try to keep it as organized as we can. This is a physical job and it really wears you out by the end of the day, but it is an honest living. Most of our time is spent making sure the clay is the right consistency. If it is too wet or too dry, the bricks just won't come out right, and then we have wasted a lot of time and wood. We supply quite a few of the construction sites around this part of town. People know our face and they know where the factory is. We don't have any secretaries or a fancy place for you to sit. You just walk into the yard and find one of us near the kiln. We have seen Chikkaballapur change a lot recently, with more houses and shops going up everywhere you look. It keeps us on our toes. We don't use any modern technology here; it is mostly just the same methods people have used for years. It is a bit rough and the work is hard on the hands, but that is just the reality of making bricks. We focus on getting the stacks ready so the builders can stay on schedule. It is just us and the crew, working every day to keep things moving along.
