Grr Earth Movers

Grr Earth Movers is based at 878, Sri Ram Nagar in the Kolar Gold Fields area. This place has a lot of history with mining and earth work, so it seemed like a natural spot for us to be. We have been operating from this address for some time now. The yard is usually full of our equipment when they aren't out on a site. KGF is a unique place to work because of the ground and the history here. We spend our days mostly coordinating where the machines need to go and making sure we have enough fuel for the week. It’s a lot of manual work, even with the big machines, because things are always needing to be adjusted or fixed. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s just a plain building where we keep our tools and talk to customers. Sometimes the work takes us quite far from Sri Ram Nagar, and we have to be out for the whole day. We like the work because it is practical and you can see what you’ve done at the end of the day. It’s not always easy, especially when the machines have problems, but we manage to get by. Most people around here know us just by seeing our machines on the road. We just keep doing our thing and helping out where we can. It’s a busy life, but it suits us fine.
