Village Care Foundation

If you ever find yourself in Linganur, you’ll probably find Village Care Foundation near the Lingeshwar Temple. We are at No. 278, which is just a short walk from the temple gates. Being in Jamkhandi Taluk means we are far away from the big city lights of Bangalore, and we prefer it that way. Bagalkot is home for us. Life moves at a different pace here. Our foundation is just a part of the local scenery. We see our neighbors every day and they know where to find us if something comes up. It isn't a high-rise office or anything. It's a simple place where we keep our tools and papers. Most of our work happens out in the open, talking to people in the village. We started this because the area needed a bit of extra support, and we were the ones available to give it. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures. We just show up and do the work. The air is a bit dustier here, especially when the tractors go by, but it’s a good place to be. We are part of the 587301 community and we take that seriously. No one here is looking for fame. We just want to make sure the folks in Linganur are doing okay. It’s a quiet life but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
