Shivapriya Social Welfare Foundation

Shivapriya Social Welfare Foundation is located right here in Ashok Colony at House Number 9, 10/13. Banahatti is a small place and most people around here know where we are. We've been operating out of this spot for a while now. It's not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of rooms where we get our work done every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside but we’re used to it. We spend most of our mornings just organizing things and talking to folks who stop by. There isn’t a whole lot of staff, just a few of us who grew up around here and wanted to do something for the town. We handle a lot of the paperwork and local coordination right from these desks. The building itself is older, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. If you walk down the main stretch in Ashok Colony, you’ll find us easily. We don't really do much advertising or anything because word of mouth usually works better in a place like Banahatti. We just try to keep things moving along and help out where we can. It’s mostly about being present and available when people need us. We keep the doors open during the day and there is always someone sitting here to answer questions or help out with whatever comes up in the neighborhood. We enjoy the pace of life here.
