Sangameshwar Traders

Out here in Mannikeri Village, we run Sangameshwar Traders at Shop No.38/144. It is a quiet area mostly, near the Bilgi Post Office. Being in the Bilagi Taluk district means we see a lot of people from the nearby farms. We trade in different things that folks around here need for their daily life or their fields. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it organized even though it gets cluttered sometimes. There is a lot of talk that goes on here, not just about business but about the weather and the crops too. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when he isn't busy with his own things. We have been in this village for a long time, so everyone knows the family. It is a simple way of life and we like it that way. The post office is just a short walk away, which is handy for us when we have to send things. We don’t spend money on ads or anything like that because word of mouth is enough in a small place like this. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside in the shade until it comes back on. It is just a normal village shop doing its bit for the community here in Mannikeri.
