Out here in Main Bazaar, Todalbagi, things move at their own pace. Devi Agencies has been a part of this Taluk in Jamkandi for a good while. We handle a lot of different supplies that people in this area need for their daily work or shops. It’s a busy spot, especially on market days when everyone from the surrounding villages comes into town. The shop can get pretty crowded and dusty with all the loading and unloading going on. We don't have air conditioning or fancy displays. It’s just shelves full of stock and a desk where we handle the accounts. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We know most of the farmers and shopkeepers around here personally. It’s not the kind of place where you get a formal greeting. Usually, it's just a nod and getting straight to business. We’ve had the same staff for years, and we all just know what needs to be done. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets really hot in the summer. But we like being in the center of the bazaar. There's always something happening right outside the door. We aren't doing anything flashy, just keeping the agency running and making sure our customers get what they ordered on time. That is just how life is here in Jamkandi. We hope to keep the doors open for many more years to come.
