Kerudi Hospital & Medical Research Centre

Our hospital is based in Kaulpet, which is a fairly busy area. We have been here for a while, and the building has seen a lot of people come through its doors. It is a mix of a regular hospital and a place where some research happens. Most days are filled with the usual sounds of a medical facility—beeping machines and people talking in low voices in the corridors. We spend a lot of time organizing patient files and making sure the rooms are ready. It's not always easy keeping up with everything, but we do our best. The research side of things means there are some areas with more specialized equipment that we have to look after. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly white paint and some notices pinned up for the staff. The location in Kaulpet is convenient for people living nearby. There are some shops around where we get our tea in the afternoons. The work is constant and it doesn't really stop, even at night. We just keep going, handling whatever comes through the entrance. It's a lot of responsibility, but it's just what we do. We've got a good group of people working here who know the routine. It's a practical place for people who need medical help. We don't have much to add, it’s just how things go here.
