Fancy Kirana Store

Zampa Bazar is a crowded place, and we are right in the middle of it at 4/3525 on the Main Road. It’s always loud outside with all the rickshaws and people moving about. We’ve been here in Agano Vad for a long time. Running a kirana store in Surat means you have to be quick. We sell all the grains, pulses, and spices that go into local cooking. The smell of the bazar is always there. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned, but that’s how we like it. We have bags of stuff sitting on the floor and jars lined up on the walls. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend the whole day weighing things out for people. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of work. We don't have any shiny posters or big lights. Just a regular place for regular people. The traffic in Zampa Bazar can be a nightmare, but it brings people to our door. We’ve seen generations of families coming in here. Sometimes we get tired of the noise, but then a regular customer comes in for a chat and it’s fine. We keep the books by hand and make sure everything is accounted for. It’s just a small piece of the main road. We do our best to keep the supplies fresh and the customers happy in our own simple way. It’s a hard living but we are used to it.
