Civil Engg

I’ve been doing this for a while here in Badami. The pin code is 587203 and it’s a quiet district compared to the big city life. I’ve been doing civil engg work for the local community for a good while. Most of what I do involves helping people with their homes or small commercial buildings that go up around the taluka. It’s a rural setting, so the challenges are different, like dealing with the local soil or making sure materials can get to the site easily enough. I don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People just know where to find me when they have a project in mind. My work involves a lot of traveling around the district to see how the construction is progressing. I keep my notes and drawings in a simple office space. It’s not always easy work, especially when the weather is rough, but it feels good to see something actually get built from a plan I worked on. I use my experience to help folks who might not know the technical side of building things. There’s a lot of trust involved in this kind of work in a place like Badami. I just try to be honest and do what needs to be done. It’s a quiet life, but I’m kept busy enough with the local growth happening around here lately. My desk is usually covered in papers and maps of the local area and its terrain.
