City Mart

City Mart is located right on Umarameshwar Road in Jamkhandi, at number 3-72-78. We’ve been here for a while now, just running the shop and seeing the same faces every day. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of our time unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves where they belong. Sometimes the delivery trucks show up late and everything gets a bit chaotic for an hour or two. Jamkhandi can be a busy place, especially when everyone is out running their errands on the weekend. We don’t have any big corporate backing or a fancy marketing team. It’s just us behind the counter. We know the squeak in the front door and which tiles are a bit loose. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with neighbors or making sure we haven't run out of the basics people need. It’s not a giant warehouse, just a regular store where we try to keep things in order. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you walk down Umarameshwar Road, you'll see us there. It’s a practical life, keeping the inventory moving and making sure the shop stays open when it's supposed to. We just do our bit here in the community, one day at a time, without any fuss or complicated plans.
