C M Yandigeri General Store

We are located at 15, Main Road, right in the middle of Rabkavi Banhatti. Since we are on the main road, we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a small wooden stool to get things down for customers. It gets quite dusty because of all the vehicles driving past the front door, so we are constantly dusting the jars and packets. We have a simple counter where we stand and talk to anyone who comes in. Rabkavi Banhatti is the kind of place where you get to know your neighbors, so we spend a lot of time just chatting about the weather or local news. We don't have a computer here; we still use a paper ledger to keep track of what we buy and sell. The light isn't the best in the back of the store, but we know where everything is kept by heart. In the afternoons, when it gets really hot, we turn on the old ceiling fan and it makes a clicking sound that we have just learned to ignore. It is a humble place, and we have been at this address for a long time now. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with what people need and helping out the locals.
