Anjuman Arebik School

Anjuman Arebik School is located right on the Main Road in Badami. If you’ve ever been to Bagalkot, you know the roads can be a bit loud with all the traffic passing by. Our school is right there in the middle of it. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character. We teach Arabic here along with the regular subjects. The students come in early, and you can hear the chanting and the lessons starting up. It’s a local spot that the community knows well. There’s a lot of history in Badami, and our school feels like a small part of that local fabric. The rooms are a bit tight sometimes because we have a lot of kids wanting to learn. We have benches that are pushed close together. During the breaks, the students spill out into the small courtyard or talk near the main gate. The teachers are mostly local people who care about the language and the culture. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name of the school on the front. It’s a practical place. We deal with the daily challenges of running a school on a busy road, like the dust and the noise. But once the doors are closed and the lessons start, everyone focuses on their work. It is just a regular day-to-day operation here in Bagalkot district for the local families.
