Aman Milk Dairy Products Producers Association

This association is run out of Salim Yashin Hanagandi's place in the Terdal area. We are located at the post office address 587315. It is a very local setup where the milk producers from around the village come together. We don't have a big glass building or anything like that. It is just a practical spot where the farmers can bring their cans in the morning and evening. There is a lot of talking and catching up while the milk is being measured and recorded in the books. Salim oversees things and makes sure the entries are correct. The air smells like fresh milk and the surrounding countryside. It is a very rural way of doing business, which we prefer. The equipment is basic, just what we need for testing and keeping things clean. Sometimes the rains make the roads difficult, but people still manage to make it here with their supplies. We have a small board where we write down the daily rates so everyone knows what to expect. It is a community effort more than anything else. We all know each other and the work is a steady part of the village life. We don't spend money on fancy things, just the basics like the testing kits and the ledger books. It is a simple life in Terdal and we just focus on the dairy production day by day.
