If you are looking for Vimlanchal Stone, we are in Ward No. 8, right on the Diversion Road. We’re easy to find because we are near the bus stand and basically right across from the Bank Of Baroda here in Ujjain. It is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our yard is full of different kinds of stones, mostly stuff people use for their houses or for paving. We spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs around, which isn't easy on the knees. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt, and it gets muddy when it rains. Sometimes we have to tell people to be careful where they walk so they don't trip over a piece of granite or marble. We don't have a big sales team or a glossy brochure to show you. Usually, it's just one of us coming out with a tape measure to see what size you need. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoons, so we spend a lot of time under the little shaded area drinking water. We’ve been in this district for a while and know most of the local builders who stop by. We just try to keep the inventory organized, even though the heavy stones make that difficult. It’s just a regular stone yard doing regular work every day.
