Vardhman Industries

We are up in Room Number 123 in Swami Bhawan for Vardhman Industries. That’s located in Swaraj Majara, which is in Baddi, over in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Baddi is a big hub for industries, so there are plants and warehouses everywhere you look. Our office is just one room in a larger building. It’s where we keep the logs and take the calls. It’s a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but it suits us for now. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of the industrial work. The area is always humming with the sound of machinery and transport. It’s not the most beautiful place, but it’s where the work is. We chose this spot because it's right in the middle of everything. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff, just a phone and this room. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the torches. It’s a practical setup. We know the other people in Swami Bhawan. We mostly talk about the daily tasks and the traffic on the way up to Solan. It’s a simple life for us here. We don't have any marketing plans, we just wait for the orders to come in and then we fill them. It is a lot of back and forth, but that is part of the job.
