Martin Brown

Martin Brown is our name, and our place is out on Nalagarh Road in Village Malku Majra. We’re pretty close to the L&T mixture plant and just across from the Annapurna Hotel. It’s a more rural area but with a lot of industrial activity nearby. We do our work here and try not to make too much of a fuss. The road can be a bit rough with all the heavy trucks going back and forth to the plants. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us making sure things run right. The weather out here can be quite something, either very hot or quite chilly in the winter. We’ve got a simple setup, mostly just what we need to get the daily tasks done. Sometimes people stop by because they got lost looking for the mixture plant, and we point them in the right direction. It’s a quiet life in a way, despite the trucks. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do to speak for itself. It’s practical, honest work. We know the people in the village and the workers from the nearby plants. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now and it suits us just fine. We keep the kettle going for most of the day because someone is always needing a break. It's nothing fancy.
