Aastha Cool Lights

We run Aastha Cool Lights from our shop on the Kharuni Lodhimajra Road. It’s mostly about dealing with all kinds of bulbs and fixtures that keep buildings lit up. The place usually has a bit of a glow coming from the windows when we are testing out new stock. We’ve been sitting on this road for a while, and it's a good spot for us. It’s not a fancy showroom with carpets and soft music. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see the boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We spend our time testing connections and making sure nothing flickers when it shouldn't. Sometimes we have to climb up high to fix something, which keeps us on our toes. The team here is small, and we all do a bit of everything, from unloading trucks to answering the phone. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just provide lights to people who need them. It gets a bit cold in the winter months since the big doors stay open a lot. But we just put on an extra sweater and keep moving. Most of our visitors are local contractors or people living nearby. It is a steady rhythm, and we like the independence of running our own place. The light helps keep the work going even when the days get short.
