Ashoka Impex

We are over at Plot No. 1 in Phase-1 of the EPIP area. Ashoka Impex is the name on the door. Being at Plot 1 makes it pretty easy for people to find us when they first drive in. We do a lot of import and export work here, mostly moving goods back and forth. The warehouse takes up most of the space. It’s full of crates and pallets most of the time. We’ve been here since the phase first opened up. It's a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something everyone looks forward to. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s baking outside. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything, just a few chairs for people waiting on documents. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the filing take longer than it should. Everyone here has a specific job, whether it's checking the containers or handling the billing. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s steady. We don’t really bother with big speeches about what we do. We just get the shipments out on time and make sure the labels are correct. The building is a bit old now, but it serves its purpose. It's just us doing our thing in this corner of the industrial park. We don't have much to say about ourselves, we just keep the goods moving.
