We are based out of unit 41 in the DIC Industrial Area in Solan. Being up here means the weather is usually a bit different than the plains, which is something we talk about a lot. Chandigarh Agritech has been operating from this industrial plot for a good stretch of time. The roads around the industrial area can be a bit rough depending on the season, especially when the trucks are coming through. We handle a lot of the agricultural side of things, dealing with tools or maybe some supplies that farmers need. It’s a lot of manual work and checking stock in the warehouse. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything. It’s mostly just the warehouse floor and a small office space where we handle the bills. People in Solan know this area well since it’s where most of the manufacturing happens. We keep the doors open when it's not too cold to let some air in. Working in agritech means we are always looking at the seasons. It’s a practical life here. We come in early, sort through the day's tasks, and try to get everything shipped out before the sun goes down. It's not glamorous, but it’s our job. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the other factories nearby. It’s just a regular part of the industrial landscape in Solan for us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
