Down here in Village Tjeda, things are a bit quieter than in the big cities. Baddi Foils is set up here among the local houses and fields. We make foil, which sounds simple but it takes a lot of watching the rollers. The village life is slow, but inside the plant, it’s quite busy. We have folks from nearby who walk to work every day. It’s a nice community feeling. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or because they see the trucks heading toward the main road. The aluminum comes in big rolls and we process it down. It’s a lot of heat and noise, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes the road into the village gets muddy when it rains, and that makes shipping a bit of a headache. We just deal with it. We aren't a giant corporation with fancy titles. We are just a group of people in Tjeda making foil for whatever needs wrapping. Sometimes we sit outside during the break and just look at the trees. It’s a different pace of work here. We focus on the production and making sure the thickness is right. It’s what we do.
