We are located right here in Village Thana, which is part of the Epip Phase-Ii area in Distt. Solan. It is a quiet place most mornings before the shifts start. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. The building is solid and we spend most of our time inside checking the machines and making sure the labels are straight. It gets a bit cold here in the winters because of the hills, so we usually have tea together in the breakroom to warm up. Most of us live nearby or in the town. We just come in, do our jobs, and try to get things out on time. The road to the industrial area can get a bit dusty when the trucks pass by. We have a small office upstairs where we handle the paperwork and talk to the distributors. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with the day-to-day manufacturing tasks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. That’s just how it is working in the mountains. We keep the floor clean and follow the schedules we are given. It’s a busy life here in Solan, especially during the harvest season when the traffic picks up. We are just a group of local people making things happen at Affy Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd. We don't really do much big talk, we just focus on the batches and the shipping crates.
