Vatsalya Clinic

Vatsalya Clinic is located in Dudhnath Katra in the Lal Ganj area. If you live around here, you’ve likely walked past us many times. It is a humble place, honestly. We don’t have any of those big flashing signs or expensive lobby furniture you see in the city. It’s just a practical clinic in an old building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend more time worrying about the patients than the decor. Lal Ganj is a tight-knit place, so we see a lot of familiar faces every single day. Some people just stop by to say hello while they’re out doing their shopping in the Katra. We keep things straightforward here. There is a desk, a few chairs, and the medical supplies we need for basic care. It’s usually me and one or two others helping out. We don’t have any fancy systems, just a paper log and a desire to help our neighbors feel a bit better. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit by the window for light, but we manage. It’s a quiet life most days, except when the market outside gets really loud. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable spot for the people who live nearby. It feels more like a community space than a business most of the time. We just do what we can with what we have here.
