The place we work from is in Thekma, which is in the Azamgarh district. We operate as Vashudhaiv Kutumbakam Pharmaceuticals Private Limited. It is a very long name for a fairly simple operation. We are based in a straightforward building that doesn't have any fancy signage. We are surrounded by the daily life of Thekma, which is a place we know well. Most of us have lived in this part of Azamgarh for a long time. The office is where we handle all the pharmaceutical distribution and administrative tasks. It is a lot of sitting at desks and going through long lists of medicine names and quantities. We try to keep our work environment relaxed. There’s no dress code or corporate rules to follow. We just expect everyone to do their part of the work. Sometimes we have meetings sitting around the main table with some snacks from the local market. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, so we have to plan our movements carefully. It’s a practical business that focuses on the basics. We don't spend time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a group of people working together to make sure things keep running. It is a modest life, but we find it satisfying to work in our own community. It’s just us doing our best day after day.
