Uday Smarak Inter College Gothawn Azamgarh

Our school is located in Gothawn, which is a quiet part of the Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. Uday Smarak Inter College has been standing here for some time now, serving the families around Martin Ganj. The building itself is quite simple, with several classrooms that look out over the open fields. In the mornings, you can see students walking or riding their bicycles from the nearby villages to get here on time. It gets quite dusty during the dry months, and the roads can be a bit rough, but that is just how things are in this part of the country. We have a playground where the kids spend their breaks, and it usually gets pretty loud with all the shouting and running around. Inside, the rooms are filled with wooden desks and blackboards. We do not have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in big city schools, but we make do with what we have. The teachers here mostly live nearby, so they know the families and the kids well. It feels more like a community spot than just a building for lessons. During the rainy season, the roof sometimes leaks a little, and we have to move the benches around. It is a very basic setup, but it works for the people living here. We just try to keep the doors open and the lessons going every day without too much fuss or extra trouble for anyone.
