Subham Clinic

We are located right in the middle of Ahiraula Market. It’s a very lively area, especially on market days when the whole place is packed with people and stalls. The clinic is a simple setup in Aharaula. We don't have a lot of the high-tech equipment you might find in a big city hospital, but we have the basics to take care of the folks who live nearby. The floor is made of old tiles and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s clean and it works. Most of the time, we are seeing people for minor things like coughs or small injuries from the market. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our patients come in because they saw our sign while they were out buying groceries. The waiting area is just a few wooden benches. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we are always sweeping it out. It’s a very local feel here. We know who is related to whom and we hear all the latest news from the village. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to have a clinic right here where the people are. We keep our own books and manage everything ourselves. It’s a straightforward way of doing things and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in.
