Sharma Clinic

If you head down toward Andha More in Bhiti Mau, you’ll find us easily enough. Sharma Clinic is located right in that busy stretch. Mau is a place that never really seems to go to sleep, and Andha More is always full of people moving about. Our clinic is just a regular building tucked into the mix. We don’t have a big flashing sign or anything like that. People just know we are here. Inside, the floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, though with all the foot traffic from the street, it’s a constant job. There’s a ceiling fan that clicks a little when it’s on the high setting, but it keeps the air moving when the heat gets heavy in the afternoons. We see a lot of familiar faces. Farmers coming in after a long day, shopkeepers from nearby, and families with their kids. It’s the kind of place where people chat while they wait. We don’t have a fancy reception area. It’s just a desk and some plastic chairs that have been here for years. The staff is small, usually just a couple of us handling everything from the door to the records. We keep things moving as fast as we can, but we don't rush people out. It’s just honest work in a busy part of Bhiti. We’ve been part of this corner for a long time and expect to stay.
