Nath Adraak Company

We are located at Shop No. 79 in Ambari Market. This is right on Shahganj Road in Jaunpur. If you are coming from the Phulpur side, you will find us easily enough. We have been here for a good while now dealing with ginger. Most people around here just call it the adraak shop. The market is always crowded, especially in the early mornings when the trucks arrive. Our shop is not very big but it serves the purpose. We spend most of the day sorting through sacks of ginger. Some days the crop is better and other days we have to work harder to get the dirt off. It is a dusty job. The floor is usually covered in bits of dried mud from the roots. We don't have any fancy office or air conditioning. Just a few chairs and the old weighing scale that has been here since we opened. My cousin helps me with the accounts and the loading when things get busy. Sometimes the traffic on Shahganj Road is so bad that the deliveries get delayed for hours. We just take it as it comes. It is a simple business and we don't try to do too many things at once. We know the farmers around Phulpur and they know us well. That is how it has always been since my father started this place. We still use the same old wooden counter for everything. It’s a bit worn out and chipped now, but it still works fine.
