Shabana Saree

Our shop is located in Building No. 786, near the Athwariya Tola in Mau Nath Bhanjan. This whole area is known for its history with weaving and textiles. We are right in the Khairabad part of town. The building itself is quite old, and the rooms where we keep the stock are a bit narrow and cramped. We have sarees stacked up from the floor almost to the ceiling. You have to be careful when pulling one out so you don't mess up the whole pile. We spend our days talking to the local weavers and the customers who come in looking for something specific. Mau is always busy, and you can hear the sound of the power looms from almost every street corner. We pick out the pieces we like best to keep in our shop. Some are very simple for everyday use, while others have much more detail. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that make a lot of noise. People come from all over the area because they know we’ve been here for a long time. It is a family-run place, and we don't bother with catalogs or websites. You just have to come in and see what we have on the shelves that day. It is a bit crowded, but we know our stock.
