Satish Clinic

Satish Clinic is located on Mehnagar Road in Palhana. It’s a regular building that most people in the village know. We’ve been here for a good while, and the routine hasn’t changed much over the years. We open the doors in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first person to come in. Being on the road to Mehnagar means we get a lot of foot traffic. It’s a simple clinic with just the basics. We have a couple of rooms for exams and a small area where people can wait their turn. We don’t have any air conditioning, just some fans that hum all day. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that is just part of living in Palhana. We handle all sorts of small health problems, from fevers to minor scrapes. We don’t try to be anything we are not. It’s just a local spot where you can get some help without having to travel too far. Most of our patients are people we have known for years. We don’t use any complicated systems for appointments; people just show up and we see them in the order they arrived. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for the way life goes around here. We just keep doing our thing on Mehnagar Road and try to keep the place as clean as possible. It is a quiet life, but it keeps us busy enough from morning until sunset.
