Maa Jagdamba Clinic

Maa Jagdamba Clinic is situated right in the heart of Chewta Bazar in Kaptanganj. If you ever walk through the bazar, you know it is always full of people, bikes, and all sorts of noise from the shops nearby. Our clinic is part of that daily rush. Every morning we roll up the shutters and the first thing we usually do is give the place a quick sweep because the bazar dust gets everywhere. It is a pretty simple setup inside with a small desk and some benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. Kaptanganj is a place where everyone always seems to be in a hurry, but we try to keep things a bit more orderly once people step inside. The walls are just a plain off-white color and we have a couple of fans that stay on all day to try and keep the air moving. It can get really hot in the afternoons, especially when the market is crowded outside. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name on the front so people know it is us. Most of the folks who come in are neighbors who have lived in Kaptanganj for years and years. We spend our time checking people in and making sure the cabinets are stocked with what we need. It’s a regular part of our lives here in the bazar, and we are just used to the way things work.
