You can find our setup in Chiraiyakot, which is in the Mau district. It’s a village and post office location, so it’s really right in the community. Our workspace is quite basic, just a room where we can sit down and figure out the day’s plan. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. It’s mostly just us and the locals who know we’re here. The building is older, and it has that lived-in feel to it. We keep our supplies in the back and have a few chairs out front for when people stop by to talk. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. We just look at what needs to be done in the district and we go do it. The area is mostly agricultural, so the seasons really dictate how things go. Sometimes we have to deal with mud or heat, but that’s just part of being out here in Mau. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s a quiet life, mostly, except for the occasional market day when the streets get a bit crowded. We like it this way because it’s real and we don’t have to pretend to be something we’re not. It’s just a simple office for a hard-working crew.
