Inland Charitable Foundation

Our foundation is based at House Number 21 in Tarchha, which is part of Kanaila in Azamgarh. It’s a quiet village area, and we are quite happy being situated here. We don't have a corporate building. Instead, we work out of this house. It feels more natural that way. People from the village can just walk in and talk to us without feeling intimidated. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch or in the main room discussing what needs to be done. It’s local work, mostly focused on the needs of folks right here in the district. We don’t have a lot of employees. It’s just a few of us handling everything from the record-keeping to the actual field work. The roads out here can get pretty muddy when it rains, so sometimes our travel gets delayed. We just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be some big, famous organization. We just want to do our part for Azamgarh. Our ledgers are all handwritten, and we keep them in a wooden cupboard. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don't have any promotional materials or glossy photos. We just have our work and the people we help. It’s a quiet life, but there is always something to do. We just try to stay honest and keep moving forward with our daily tasks.
