Gond Clinic

Gond Clinic has been sitting at Kaptanganj Chowk in Terahi for quite a long time. This is the spot where everyone meets up, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. It’s a small place, nothing like the big city hospitals you see on TV. We have a couple of rooms where we check patients who aren't feeling well. Mostly, people come in with fevers, coughs, or just general aches from working in the fields or around the house. We don't have any fancy machines here, just the basic tools to see what’s wrong. If something is really serious, we tell them they need to go to the bigger town. My family has lived in this area forever, so we know just about everyone who walks in. The door stays open most of the day, and sometimes people just stop by to say hello while they are at the Chowk. It can get dusty being right on the main intersection, but we sweep it out every morning. It’s a simple life here. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We try to help out as many as we can without making it too complicated. It’s just a local clinic for local people. We do our best to stay open late if someone needs us urgently. It’s not perfect, but it’s our way of helping the community through the days.
