Fatima Hospital

Mau nath bhanjan is a busy town, and our hospital is right there in the thick of it. You can hear the sounds of the engines and the people shouting in the street from most of our front rooms. It’s a lively place to work, that’s for sure. We don’t have any corporate branding or polished logos on every wall. It’s just a place where doctors and nurses come to work every day. The building is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, with small hallways leading to different wards. We try to keep the benches in the waiting room in good shape, but they see a lot of use. People come in from the rural areas around Mau nath bhanjan as well as from the town itself. We spend our time checking charts, giving out medicine, and talking to worried families. It’s a lot of emotional work, but it’s what we do. The kitchen in the back makes simple meals for the patients, and the smell of tea is usually floating around somewhere. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We’re just a local hospital that’s been part of this town for years. Most of our equipment is older but it still works fine. We focus on getting through the patient list and making sure everyone gets the attention they need before we head home at the end of the day.
