You can find us at Phariha Chowk in Azamgarh. It’s a local spot where people tend to gather. E Travels And Tours is a small office where we handle travel stuff for people in the neighborhood. We aren't some giant agency with branches everywhere. It’s just us here at the chowk. The office is pretty simple, with a couple of desks and some old calendars on the walls. People stop by to ask about bus tickets or if they can hire a car for a few days. Azamgarh can get quite hot, so we usually have a fan running all day long. It makes a bit of noise but it helps. We spend a lot of time talking to local drivers and checking what the roads are like. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it is very quiet and we just sit and watch the traffic go by outside. We don't use any fancy booking systems or anything like that, just what works for us and the people who come in. It’s a humble place. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We just try to get the tickets printed and the trips organized without too much fuss. Being at the chowk means we are right in the middle of everything, which is handy for everyone.
