Chandasi Clinic

Chandasi Clinic is out on Azamgarh Road in the Dev Gaon area. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main city, but for the people living around here, it is the local spot. The clinic is right on the side of the road, so it gets a lot of dust from the trucks passing by. It is just a small, one-story building with a few rooms inside. We have a simple desk at the front where people sign in. There are no computer screens everywhere, mostly just paper files and old ledgers. We have been in Dev Gaon for quite a while now. The people who come here are usually our neighbors or people from the nearby villages. We see a lot of general health issues, nothing too specialized. It is the kind of place where the doctor knows your name and your father's name. We do not have a fancy waiting area, just some plastic chairs lined up against the wall. Sometimes the wait is long, especially on market days when everyone is in town for their shopping. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. It is just a clinic. We provide medicine and advice to whoever needs it. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the place is clean and it serves its purpose for the community. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
