Asha Dental Clinic

Asha Dental Clinic is located in Thekma. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights to bring people in. Most folks find us because they live nearby and saw us while walking past. The clinic is just a couple of rooms. We have the basic dental chair and a small desk for keeping track of who comes in. It’s not always busy, so sometimes we just sit and watch the street for a while. Other days, everyone seems to show up at once and we’re working until late in the evening. The building is older, so the windows sometimes stick and the floor isn't perfectly level. We don't mind much, as long as everything stays clean. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain what’s going on with their teeth in plain English. It’s a very local feel. We know the families around Thekma and they know us. There’s no corporate pressure here to sell anything. We just do what’s needed and that’s that. Sometimes we bring lunch from home and eat it in the back room when there’s a break. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We like being a small part of the community here. It’s not a fancy career, just steady work in a place we know well. We hope to keep the doors open for a long time for everyone in Thekma.
