Plummy Foods Private Limited

We are based at House No. 40 in the village of Sarurpur. This is near the Tendha post office in the Faizabad area of Uttar Pradesh. It is a very rural spot. You won't find any big glass buildings here. We are just in a regular house that we have turned into our workspace for Plummy Foods Private Limited. Most of us are from around here. We grew up playing in these same fields. The work is mostly about food items and getting things ready for market. It is hard work and the days are long. We start early when the sun comes up to avoid the worst of the heat. Milkipur is the closest town where we go to get our supplies. The roads are not the best, especially after the monsoon hits. Then everything turns into mud and we have to be careful driving the van. We have a few people from the village who come in to help with the packing. It is a small team. We don't have a human resources department or anything like that. We just talk to each other if there is a problem. The name Plummy Foods sounded nice when we registered it. It has stuck since then. We keep things simple. We do our work, look after the house, and try to get things done right. It is a quiet life in Sarurpur and we are happy staying here.
