We are out in Sunwa, Rudauli, near the Maa Kamakhya Bhawani temple in the Ayodhya-Faizabad area. It’s a place where we do our food and agro work. We aren’t some big faceless business; we’re just folks from around here who know how to handle crops. Most days you’ll see us working on the processing or checking the quality of the grains we get from the local farms. It’s a dusty job, and the machines can be a bit loud, but it’s what we do. We set up near the temple because it’s a central spot for everyone in the village. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves because hiring extra help isn't always an option. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to keep everything moving, especially when the electricity goes out or the weather is bad. But we’ve lived here our whole lives, so we’re used to the ups and downs of it. We just want to make sure the food we handle is good and that the farmers get paid what they should. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up early and stay until the job is finished for the day. People coming to the temple often stop by to say hello or ask how the crop is looking. We enjoy being a part of the daily life in Sunwa. We keep our tools in the back and a small desk for the papers. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where every single bag of grain came from.
