You can usually hear the kids playing during their break times while we are inside working. It’s a decent spot for a small business like ours. We do food processing, which basically means we spend our whole day dealing with raw materials and turning them into something people can actually use. It’s messy work sometimes. The floors need sweeping constantly and there is always a machine that needs a bit of oiling. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. We show up early, get the lights on, and start the processing lines. Being in Ram Nagar feels good because it’s a lived-in neighborhood. Our neighbors know us and we know them. Sometimes the school traffic makes it hard to get trucks in and out, but we’ve learned to work around the school schedule. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come to the door, one of us will probably come out with flour on our shirt or holding a clipboard. That is just how it is here. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry too much about looking like a big city company. It’s just us doing our job in Shahganj and trying to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
