M&G Food Product

You can find us at 32, Punjab Lines, which is inside the Faizabad Cantt area. M&G Food Product is run out of this location in Faizabad, and it is a place where we spend a lot of our time. It is a bit of a disciplined area because of the Cantt, so things stay relatively orderly and quiet around here compared to the main market. We have a small setup where we handle the daily food processing tasks. Most of our day is spent making sure the ingredients are sorted and the packaging is done properly. We don't have any fancy marketing people or big logos painted on the walls. It is just a functional space with some stainless steel tables and a few machines that we keep running. The workers here are mostly locals who know the Punjab Lines area well and can walk to work. We usually start our shift early in the morning when it is still cool and the air is fresh. There is a lot of cleaning involved in food work, so someone is always scrubbing something down or washing the floors. We don't make a big deal out of what we do. It is just about making a product that people can use and making sure it goes out on time. The building is older, but we keep it in good shape for the work we have to do. Sometimes you can hear the birds in the trees outside the Cantt while we are working inside, which is nice. It is a quiet kind of life most of the time for us. We just focus on the batches we are making that day and try to get everything finished before the evening. It is just a regular job for regular people.
