Lok Nath Clinic

Down here in Mumtaz Nagar, things move a bit slower than in the middle of a big city. Lok Nath Clinic is right here in the Faizabad area, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a small clinic, just a few rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait. We mostly see people from the surrounding streets who come in with everyday aches or coughs. The walls have a few old posters on them, and the furniture is nothing special, but it’s comfortable enough for a short stay. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who manage the appointments and the doctor who sees everyone. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the backup, which is just how it is in this part of town. People in Mumtaz Nagar know they can just drop by when they aren't feeling right. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the patients about their families while we work. It’s not a formal place at all. We keep track of everything in big ledgers. It’s a practical little clinic that fits into the daily life of Faizabad. We don't do anything flashy, just the basic medical help that a local neighborhood needs to keep going.
