Faiza Foundation

Our foundation is based out of Shamas Alam’s place in Chandausirampur. If you are looking for us, we are right there in Rampur with the pin code 202132. It’s a quiet area and we like it that way because it lets us focus on what actually matters to the people living around here. We aren't some big city operation with a glass building. We’re just a small group trying to help out with local needs through the Faiza Foundation. Some days we are helping with school stuff for the kids, and other days it might be something totally different. We don't really have a set script for how things go. We just take it as it comes. The office is really just a room with a couple of chairs and a table that wobbles a bit if you lean on it too hard. We spend a lot of time talking to the families in the village to see what they actually need instead of guessing. It feels more honest that way. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that, just the work we do every day. People in Chandausirampur know where to find us if they need a hand. It’s not a fast process and we don’t have a lot of money, but we do what we can with what we’ve got. That is just how it is for us and it seems to work.
