Cam & Gears

Our business, Cam & Gears, is located in Acharya Nagar in Ayodhya. We are specifically on the Allahabad Road, which is one of the main ways people get in and out of the city. We are very close to the Hydel Sub Station, so if you see the big power lines and transformers, you know you are near us. It is a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by at all hours. We deal with various mechanical parts like cams and gears, as our name suggests. The shop is filled with shelves of metal components and the smell of machine oil. It is not a place for sitting around; there is always something to count, sort, or pack. The Allahabad Road can get very crowded during festival times or when there is work going on at the substation. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a while. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just open up in the morning, handle the requests that come in, and make sure we have what people are looking for. The neighborhood is a mix of residential houses and small commercial shops, so it feels like a community. We have lived and worked in Ayodhya for years and we like the steady pace of our corner in Acharya Nagar. It is just about getting the parts to the people who need them and keeping the shop organized for the next day.
