Aarya Masala

We run Aarya Masala in the Tarun Block of Jana Bazar. It’s right near Khapar School here in the Faizabad district. Most of the time, you can hear the kids playing during recess while we are working on the spices. The shop is in a busy market area, so there’s always something going on outside. We focus on the common spices people use in this part of the country. It’s a simple setup with a few grinding stones and some storage bins. We get our raw materials from the local farmers when we can. It’s not a huge business, just a family-run thing that keeps us occupied. We spend a lot of time drying things out in the sun before they get turned into powder. You have to be careful with the moisture, or things spoil. People from the nearby villages come to the bazar and stop by to pick up their supplies. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the smell of coriander and cumin to let people know we are here. Sometimes we sit outside when it's not too hot and chat with the neighbors. It’s a slow-paced kind of work, but it suits us. We make sure the packets are sealed tight so they stay fresh. It’s just a basic service for the local folks who need good ingredients for their meals.
