You can find us at 316 Cheyur Road. This is where Andavar Clothing Company operates. The road itself is quite long and stays busy with local traffic going between towns. Our building is just a plain structure, similar to the others on this stretch. Inside, the main room is filled with the sound of sewing machines running almost all day. It is a rhythmic noise that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We have rows of workstations and piles of cut cloth waiting to be put together. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and fabric scraps by the time evening rolls around. We sweep it out every night, but by the next morning, it starts all over again. The windows are usually kept open to let some air in, though it brings in the noise from Cheyur Road. We do not have any fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum along with the machines. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the others work. We take turns making tea in the back room. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the orders are piled up high on the tables. We do not spend much time on decorations. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and notes pinned up. It is just a place where we make clothes.
