Exim Knits is located out at Sf. No. 334 in Palankarai Village. We are right on the Nambiyur Road in the Kuppandampalayam area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it out here. The air is a little clearer and there’s more space for our operations. We work with knitted fabrics, which means the machines are usually running from early morning until late evening. It’s a constant humming sound that you eventually stop noticing. Our team is mostly made up of people from the nearby villages. We aren't a big city firm with a fancy lobby. Our building is practical and built for one thing: getting the knitting and the shipping done. Sometimes the road out here gets a bit rough after a heavy rain, which makes it tricky for the transport trucks, but we find ways to manage. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships we’ve built over the years. We spend our days checking the quality of the knits and making sure the machines are maintained. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the people who work here are taken care of. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us.
