Ride On Enterprises

We have been operating Ride On Enterprises at 621, Avadi High Road for quite some time now. Our shop is right in the heart of Lakshmipuram, so we see the city change through our front windows every single day. The morning commute is always a spectacle with all the bikes and cars zooming past toward the city center. We usually get the shutters up by eight in the morning while the air is still a bit cool. Inside, it smells like grease, old metal, and the tea we brew on a small stove in the back. There are shelves lining the walls filled with various parts and boxes that have been there for years. We don’t really bother with fancy displays. People come in knowing what they need, or they just stop by to ask for a bit of advice on their vehicles. My brother handles the books at a small wooden desk that’s seen better days, while I mostly stay on the floor. The afternoon heat can be a real struggle, especially when the traffic outside slows down and the air gets thick with exhaust. We have an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps us going. Most of our neighbors are other small shop owners, so we often share a quick chat during the slow hours. It is a simple life, focused on getting the work done and making sure every person who walks in leaves with what they needed. We are just a local fixture on the high road.
